The climate crisis is already impacting everyone and everything on the planet today. Unless we take significant collective action now, it’s going to be too late.
We are taking action to reduce our community’s carbon footprint through education and advocacy in order to combat the climate crisis.
Our Projects
No Idling: Advocating for city-wide change to stop car idling because it unnecessarily harms our environment, is dangerous for people’s health, and also costs drivers extra money.
Bike/Walk Lanes: Helping the city have less cars on the road to decrease carbon emissions by supporting safer local bike and walk lanes.
School Sustainability: Serving as student voices on the Lafayette School District Sustainability Advisory Committee to help our schools reduce their carbon footprint.
Plastic Reduction: Aiming to reduce the community’s reliance on single-use plastics, which are made from fossil fuels and never degrade.
